Never forget, that when a politician preaches about the evils of powerful people, he’s written the speech in search of power.
When a father encourages everyone to work together for the good of the family but doesn’t accept responsibility himself he’s looking for power.
When a mother tells a boy how controlling their father was to stop the boy from being like his father so that she feels safe she’s seeking power.
And when a little boy acts like he’s weak and manipulates you in secret it’s because he’s trying to be good but he feels powerless.
Being powerless makes you insane with anxiety.
And demonizing power influences people to meet their needs for power.
Don’t tell others that power is an evil thing when it’s something you can’t live without. Seek power honestly, and it won’t become a dark and twisted thing hidden behind closed doors.
