A useful truth is something that is true, and if you believe that it’s true it will make your life better.
There are plenty of things that are true but if you focus on them they’ll destroy your life.
But there are certain truths that make you a better person if you focus on them.
A lot of people glorify the search for truth as the ultimate good. But the universe is really big. And there’s a lot of stuff out there that’s useless and destructive even though it’s real.
I think it’s worthwhile to take a step deeper into the concept of truth and ask yourself what knowledge is worth your time.
Because there’s infinite knowledge, and you’re only going to be here for a little while.
