Listening to your own instinct is an important element of strength.
And listening to your own instincts results in better outcomes over time.
If you have an instinct to do or say something and you don’t act on it because you’re not sure about it or concerned what others will think, then you won’t learn whether or not it was a good instinct.
Do this over and over again and you will lose trust in yourself over time.
But if you act on your instincts, and then course correct when you’re wrong and celebrate when you’re right, then not only will you learn to trust your instincts, but also you will train them.
You can learn to act instinctively in a more healthy manner over time and it makes you way more powerful.
But you have to take the risk of trusting yourself in order to do it.
