If you’re struggling with an addiction then please look at what good the addiction is doing for you.
No one gets addicted to something that doesn’t do anything good for you.

The most common addiction is dopamine. If you’re addicted to a cell phone or any number of other things that give you a quick hit of dopamine it’s because you either don’t have enough dopamine to begin with or your life is so unsatisfying that you don’t know how to enjoy the dopamine you already have. And if you want to quit whatever you’re addicted to you need to give yourself a better life.

Most of us are addicted to things that make our lives better but cost us in the long run.

So if you want to stop then go make your life better.

Go make your life so worth living that the thing you’re addicted to gets in the way of living the beautiful life you so desperately want to live.

Now you have a reason you care about to get rid of it.
