If you’re feeling extremely burned out it’s often because of associating a positive emotion with the wrong thing. You might think of yourself and strong for working longer hours and weak for giving up and taking a break.
But strength and weakness are far more complex than that. You need rest and you’re not resting. So are you really all that strong if you can’t get yourself to do what you really need to do?
Sometimes the strongest action is the one you percieve as the weakest. Because strength comes from your capability to choose your actions and do something you don’t want to do. You want to keep going and you don’t want to stop. So stopping is the act of strength in this case.
Find the right place to apply your strength and it will make you more functional so that you can do the things you want to in life.
