Let’s say you could save four hundred dollars a month.

At the end of thirty years you’d have a hundred and forty four thousand dollars. Which isn’t bad, but what if you invested that same amount at eight percent interest?

Then you’d have a bit more than half a million, which is a lot better. Now, what if you increased the amount you invested by five percent every year?

Then you’d have almost a million dollars. The first method isn’t that much different from the last one, but the results are extremely different.

Growth comes from knowledge, application of that knowledge, and small tweaks in your behaviour.
