If you wanna learn fast, then you have to remember how to do something that you did naturally as a kid… You have to learn how to play. Play is something that happens within a set of boundaries that creates enough safety and bandwidth that chaos can occur.
So what this always means is there’s a set of rules and there’s a set of infinite things that could happen, and you don’t know what will happen.
The kid that is playing is doing so inside of the playground.
Why is a video game so fun?
It’s a challenge. But it’s a limited challenge. You can do whatever you want within those limits. You can get better at it.
You can make infinite mistakes within that realm.
It’s got an infinite set of things that could happen within it.
