The easiest way to get praised for your opinion is to tell everyone to go in the same direction they’re going. But say it in a way that sounds unique.
Tell people what they already believe using different words.
When you do this, you’re not taking on leadership or adding anything valuable to the world.
But if you do your best to say what you believe is true, even if it’s similar to a popular opinion, it will be a useful data point others can be inspired by, disagree with, or use as a guidepost to move forward.
Don’t try to say the same thing a different way; that happens naturally because there’s nothing new under the sun.
Say what you think should be done to move forward because your words will then come from a unique perspective and that helps everyone figure out what to do.
