Nature is beautiful because everything that isn’t beautiful died.
Accepting a certain brutality of nature is extremely important to making the right choices in life.
Because we are nature. We’ve learned how to protect ourselves most of the time. But we still observe and judge everything according to the value system of survival. So if you look for the qualities valued in the animal kingdom, the ones that bring success, you will become beautiful yourself, in your appearance, your behavior, what you create, and how you interact with others.
Nature isn’t done with us because we’re not done with it. We are a biological species designed to seek excellence in order to survive.
Embracing that we are still a part of the animal kingdom and with that comes the responsibility to be your best self or get eaten is as overwhelming and fear inducing as plunging into ice water. But it also can be just as empowering and freeing.
