If you don’t want to be anxious then you must not lead with anxiety.
Because each time you let your anxiety make a decision for you it reinforces it. It says that yes, you were correct to be anxious in that scenario and now you should look for more reasons to be anxious.
Acting on anxiety without limits results in limitless anxiety.
There are times when it’s appropriate to validate your anxiety, as it’s an emotion you’re experiencing. It’s real, and should be accepted as a valid experience. But if you want to be independent of your anxiety then you must make decisions independent from the influence of that anxiety.
Because that shows your mind that it’s possible to survive with less of it.
Accept that your fears are real, but choose to make realistic decisions based in optimism and you will teach yourself that you can survive without fear leading you.
