If you’re burned out because you’ve been working really hard then you need to know that your brain will probably try to stop you from taking a break.
If you’re a person who works hard then you work hard because you think it’s the right thing to do.
You either feel proud, excited, or at least less guilty because you’re working.
So if you need to take a break then when you stop working you need to realize that you might feel less proud, disappointed, and ashamed of yourself as if you’re doing the wrong thing.
And if you feel bad when you take a break then you need to know that taking a break is your new challenge.
It’s your job to stop and rest and be willing to handle the negative emotions that come up when you do.
And you’d better do it or you’re going to find yourself in a bad situation.
