If you’re wasting a lot of time, then it’s probably because you’re not willing to waste a little bit of time on a healthy activity that will make you feel good enough to stop wasting time and get to work.
We often wait around on our phones because we feel that taking a break for twenty minutes to stretch or make a healthy meal is a waste of time.
We tell ourselves that in a couple more minutes we’ll get to work and then waste hours.
But if you stop everything and commit to a healthy break it will take less time than sitting around for hours telling yourself that “you don’t deserve a break yet and will get back to work in a minute.”
It doesn’t matter whether you deserve a break or not. If taking a break gets you results then it’s your job to stop what you’re doing and go do something pleasant.
