If you want to be disciplined then listen to this.
Sometimes you need to discipline yourself. To learn to do things that you don’t wanna do.
But you also must train your desire.
A lot of people think desires are just random irresponsible things. But think about it this way.
If you want to touch a hot stove, and then you touch a hot stove, now you no longer want to touch a hot stove.
Your desire has shifted. This means desire is a trainable thing.
If you can connect to your desire and learn to act on it so that you can train it, you can give yourself an understanding of what you desire and what you don’t. Then you can hack discipline to the point that you aren’t controlling yourself and making yourself do things you don’t want to.
You’re just moving toward the object of your desire, and no one can stop you.
