If you’re struggling to trust someone and you want to develop your trust in them, understand that you will never feel like you trust someone until after you’ve engaged in the act of trusting them.
Trust is not earned. It’s developed. Because there is nothing one person can do to completely remove another person’s fear.
There’s no set of inspiring actions that will result in another person being able to hand over trust fearlessly in return for those actions. Because trust isn’t transactional.
It comes from the brave act of choosing to trust someone without knowing what will happen when you do, and the other person receiving that trust and delivering on whatever that person was entrusted with.
The emotion or sensation of trust, comes afterwards.
The act of trust creates the feeling of trust, not the other way around.
