When you succeed at something your body chemistry changes. Your serotonin levels shift, your posture changes, and you become more relaxed, energetic, and capable.
In other words, winning tends to make people win.
The more you struggle at a task the less likely you are to achieve it. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep trying. This is why the people who struggle for a long time and then succeed often become our heros.
But if you want to be one of those people. You need to engineer success in some area where you have more control to maintain a body chemistry that enables you to keep trying.
